CACHE-CACHE CHEZ ARTHUR

Tucked away in a corner, the interactive installation Cache-cache chez Arthur has nothing to hide. It was designed to showcase an eponymous tiny game made with a small game engine, evoking childhood games and loneliness through an ordinary experience of rejection. Minimal setup, open-source software, second-hand hardware, an extremely short playtime: one might start to wonder whether this is really a video game, or rather a “ugly duckling” of the video game industry.
